A one-eyed dog becomes a US ship’s mascot because it helped the soldier’s morale during WWII.
SYNOPSIS:
Captain Jack, a black, one-eyed dog, warned all the US soldiers if a snake, alligator, or Japanese soldier approached their ship. An aircraftsman made sure the dog was with him in the POW camps the men were sent to after the Japanese torpedoed their ship during WWII. The aircraftsman kept the dog after the war was over.
