SYNOPSIS:

No one controls thirty-year-old Rose McDevitt. Her fresh, flapper-jargon snookers the political bosses of South Jersey. Unafraid, she convinces them she can do anything a man can do, including piloting a Dart Boat into dangerous waters and rumrunning the hooch to the speakeasys on the mainland. Murders, machine guns, and gangsters can’t stop her from getting what she wants: land for her horse to run free.
