SYNOPSIS:

Kim is a pharmaceutical representative. Her company was given free comps for rooms adn drinks during the Polar Plunge in Oceanwood, NJ, February 2009. Kim and her partner Bill, decided to attend the event, not to go in the water, but to take part in all the partying during that weekend. Kim drank too much and became lost in herself and ended her life face up on the muddy banks of the bay. A fisherman found her in the early morning. Her parents sued the entire event and the town for her wrongful death. Sterling Laymon, nine years later, attempts to write about this sad story.
